Our adult social care teams are involved in various services, including:

Learning Disability Services

This team conducts initial assessments and reviews for young adults with learning disabilities and their caregivers, working collaboratively to develop care and support plans that cater to their unique needs.

Autism Support Services

This team is responsible for assessing and providing support to adults diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Social Care Assessment Services

This short-term service supports individuals post-hospital discharge, collaborating closely with reablement services to facilitate smooth transitions.

First Response Services

This team serves as the initial point of contact for the public and professionals seeking assistance from Adult Social Care.

Required Qualifications

  • A relevant social work qualification
  • Knowledge of the legislative framework and legal proceedings governing adult services
  • Understanding of social work theory and practice
  • Proficiency in IT for standard electronic systems
