Length of the contract: 20 weeks
Gi Group is seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to our Public Sector client. The Administrator will deliver an effective and competent level of administration, promoting good customer service and effective working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for the department, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, and communicating relevant information to stakeholders.
- Data Management: Inputting and maintaining data on data systems, together with the associated correspondence.
- Reporting: Monitoring data input and printing reports from computerised systems, as required.
- Scheduling: Arrange and schedule assessments and reviews, including contacting individuals, family members, representatives, and other relevant professionals.
- Documentation: Collation and preparation of relevant documentation in support of service delivery.
- Administrative Support: Support administrative function in the setting up of care packages.
- Meetings and Events: Responsible for organising meetings for the department, minute taking, calendar management, and planning any administrative work, as required.
- Financial Management: Dealing with invoice queries in an efficient and timely manner.
- Communication: Answering telephone calls, taking messages, and passing on accurately to the relevant department or person.
- Mail and Correspondence: Deal with all outgoing and incoming mail.
- Complaints Resolution: Resolving complaints and escalating where required.
- Administrative Tasks: Word processing and processing documents, e.g. scanning and photocopying.
Requirements:
- Education: 2 A-Levels or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Experience: Experience of working in a healthcare environment is desirable.
- Customer Service: Experience dealing with customers or service users.
- Administrative Experience: Experience working in a busy, administrative environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience working with computerised data systems.
- Software Proficiency: Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Keyboard Skills: High level of keyboard skills.
- Communication Skills: Highly proficient writing and numeracy skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Clear communicator with excellent data entry and telephone skills.
