Hydraulic and Mechanical Systems Technician

Role Overview:

  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of hydraulic systems.
  • Perform load testing and certification of hydraulic jacks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols in all operations.
  • Respond promptly to service inquiries from clients.
  • Manage work requests from initiation to completion.
  • Communicate effectively regarding the status of work orders.
  • Collaborate well within a team environment.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for work orders.
  • Fulfill any required training obligations.
  • Oversee and manage critical spare parts inventory.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess relevant qualifications such as C&G, BTEC level 3, ONC/OND, or NVQ level 3 in hydraulic or mechanical engineering.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of asset maintenance practices.
  • Establish and uphold high standards of operational excellence.
  • Experience with pressurized gas systems is a plus.
  • Showcase strong decision-making and communication abilities.
