About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our Drug and Alcohol Team as a Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment and care planning for individuals with substance use issues
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure effective treatment outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with Part 3 of the NMC Register
  • Experience in substance use and mental health nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
