{"About the Role": "MTrec Recruitment is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our client's team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of the bid team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing the bid process to meet business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in managing the commercial tendering process, ensuring timely visibility of all opportunities, and leading on, writing, and project managing bids and proposals from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a successful bid strategy, including pinpointing unique selling points, understanding customer requirements, and coaching on presentations
* Manage and oversee the bid team during the bid process, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
* Responsible for devising a winning bid strategy, including researching, writing, and preparing pre-qualification and tender documents
* Ensure bids are submitted on time and are complete and accurate, reflecting the company's services and abilities
* Collaborate with the marketing department to source and coordinate design input for visual standards
* Attend departmental BDM meetings and liaise with the head of the department to support implementation of their plans
* Assist with the review of contract performance by collating data and customer feedback
* Prepare and upkeep high-quality responses for future reference

Requirements:

* Bid co-ordination/tender experience is essential
* Degree educated is preferable but not essential
* Experienced in bid writing
* High levels of attention to detail, customer relationship focus, and commercial awareness
* Ability to effectively prioritize a busy workload and meet project deadlines with proven project management skills
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation
* UK driving license
