Junior Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our team at Finch Henry Job Corps Center. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for assisting senior designers in developing interior design concepts and creating detailed drawings using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior designers to develop interior design concepts and create detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp to visualize design concepts.
  • Apply photo editing and graphic design skills in Photoshop to enhance visuals and presentations.
  • Utilize InDesign to create visually appealing and professional design layouts for project documentation.
  • Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and furniture to meet project requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings and effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign is essential.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, color theory, and spatial planning.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and meet project deadlines.
