Operations Director

As our new Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of housing in the Yorkshire area, working closely with our Senior Operations Manager and talented teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager and fellow Operations Managers to meet regional targets and ensure smooth service delivery across Yorkshire.
- Lead the Housing Managers to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Monitor and improve operational performance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across rented and leasehold services.
- Use your people management skills to motivate, support, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Balance resources and workflows to achieve targets and contractual compliance, while maintaining Home Group's core values of care, inclusivity, and integrity.
- Travel regionally (and occasionally nationally) to meet teams, attend meetings, and collaborate with colleagues, while ensuring effective local leadership.
- Proven experience in housing management with a solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop a high-performing team while driving service improvements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts in a positive way.
- Experience of managing performance, resources, and workflows to achieve service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with the flexibility to travel regionally as needed.
