Job Summary:

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Speech and Language Assistant to join our team. As a Graduate Speech and Language Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and EHCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with educational psychologists and speech and language therapists to develop and implement individualized plans for students with SLCN.
  • Use your educational background and vibrant personality to encourage engagement and positive progress for students with SLCN.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment that promotes the well-being and academic success of all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with SLCN.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of speech and language programs for students with SLCN.

Requirements:

  • Speech and Language/English graduate with a 1st or 2:1 degree.
  • Aspirations of becoming a Speech and Language Therapist or working in an adjacent field.
  • Previous experience welcomed but not essential.
  • Genuine empathy and passion for the nature of the work.
