Protocol Education is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding primary school in Kingston Upon Thames. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and other professionals to provide support to students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students with SEND
- Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, providing individualized attention and care
- Work with speech and language therapists and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Keep accurate records and attend review meetings to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Experience working with students with SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
