About the Opportunity:

Scrumconnect Consulting is seeking skilled and driven Senior Azure DevOps Engineers to enhance our innovative team. This position plays a vital role in advancing our cloud infrastructure initiatives, ensuring effective deployment and operational efficiency. Candidates with a robust background in Azure and DevOps, particularly in managing intricate environments, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management tasks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Administer and configure both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chocolatey.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and oversee container orchestration.
  • Create and manage scripts using Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Administer SQL and MS SQL databases.
  • Implement security best practices across all environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6-12 years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on Azure.
  • Proficient in Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Experience with Windows configuration management tools, particularly Chocolatey.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure.
  • Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
  • Proficient in containerization technologies, especially Docker.
  • Strong scripting capabilities in Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with SQL databases, particularly MS SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of .NET applications and their deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with DataBricks is advantageous.
  • Solid grasp of cloud security principles, including SSL and OWASP.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with DataBricks.
  • Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, Terraform).
