Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee our international purchasing activities and ensure the efficient procurement of goods and services for Echo Bio Packaging ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, negotiation, and familiarity with systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement international procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, especially in China, and must have experience with Chinese markets and communicate in Hindi.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and forecast demand, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  4. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  5. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels, utilizing data analytics to inform procurement decisions.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  2. Professional certification in procurement or a related field, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the profession.
  3. Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of success in international sourcing and negotiation.
  4. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including logistics, inventory management, and transportation.
  5. Familiarity with procurement software such as Oracle EBS and SAP, with experience in implementing and utilizing these systems.
  6. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationships, driving value and cost savings for the company.
  7. Good understanding of logistics and inventory management, with experience in managing complex supply chains.
  8. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  9. Must have proficiency in Chinese and Hindi languages, with experience in communicating with suppliers and stakeholders in these languages.
