About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Case Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Case Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Street Enforcement Manager in delivering services under Council policies and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a demanding workload and deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Use the Microsoft Office software suite to produce high-quality documentation, including letters and reports.
  • Devise, implement, and evaluate successful projects.
  • Influence, persuade, and negotiate skills, with the ability to deal effectively with conflict and aggression.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Environmental Health, with an emphasis on Environmental Crime, Anti-social Behaviour, Highways, and Noise legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • A full driving license and the ability to travel around a wide area of the city to complete district work.
