The team dedicated to Coronary, Renal Denervation & CathWorks (CRDN) is pivotal in positioning Medtronic as the premier partner for healthcare professionals aiming to alleviate the impact of cardiovascular diseases. Our clientele encompasses both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, primarily within the Interventional Cardiology domain, including specialists in Tertiary Centres and District General Hospitals. This includes Interventional Cardiologists, Hypertension Experts, Cardiac Cath Lab Supervisors, Theatre Coordinators, Specialist Nurses, Directorate Managers, and Procurement Officers. Our innovative therapies are designed to address conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension.
The core responsibility of this position is to mentor, develop, and inspire the sales team to expand the Medtronic CRDN business through strategic collaboration with both implanting and non-implanting facilities. This role necessitates substantial field engagement with both the team and clients.
Our commitment to pioneering solutions has transitioned into the 'Launch & Execution Phase' with the introduction of CathWorks AngioFFR and Renal Denervation (RDN), both of which have recently achieved National and International Consensus Statements and Guideline endorsements. These innovations are recognized as key growth drivers for Medtronic, with the expectation that the UK&I CRDN team will emerge as the leading business across EMEA in capitalizing on these opportunities.
Responsibilities Include
You will be tasked with:
• Ensuring the sales team effectively promotes the comprehensive range of CRDN products to hospitals and healthcare professionals, maintaining high standards of product and service delivery.
• Establishing clear business goals with the Sales Team on an individual account basis, ensuring each goal is SMART, with defined execution strategies and accountability.
• Contributing innovative concepts to the CRDN Leadership Team and sharing success stories and best practices.
• Collaborating with the Business Manager, Commercial Operations, Product Specialists, and Training and Education Manager to devise effective commercial strategies aligned with EMEA directives to meet sales and profitability objectives.
• Fostering a culture of commercial excellence within the team, achieving all key performance metrics quarterly and annually.
• Collecting and communicating relevant market data and insights within the organization, in partnership with CRDN marketing.
• Addressing and resolving client concerns that require high-level decision-making.
Essential Qualifications
• Proven experience in team management, including coaching, development, and performance evaluation.
• Strong business insight and a successful track record in a matrix organizational structure.
• Demonstrated history of personal development and growth.
• Experience in executing successful product launches, territory planning, and sales forecasting.
• Background in medical device sales.
• Exceptional ability to identify business opportunities and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
• Degree in business administration or a related scientific field.
• Professional coaching certification.
• Experience in the Coronary / Peripheral Vascular specialties.
• Proven history of team management within Medtronic.
• Familiarity with the Integrity Selling approach.
