The team responsible for the Coronary, Renal Denervation & CathWorks (CRDN) division is dedicated to positioning Medtronic as the premier partner in combating cardiovascular disease. Our clientele includes both clinical and non-clinical professionals, primarily within the Interventional Cardiology specialties at various healthcare facilities. Key stakeholders include Interventional Cardiologists, Hypertension Specialists, Cath Lab managers, Theatre managers, Specialist nurses, Directorate managers, and Procurement professionals. Our therapies are pivotal in addressing Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension.
The primary objective of this position is to mentor, develop, and inspire the sales team to expand the Medtronic CRDN market presence through strong collaboration with both implanting and non-implanting facilities. This role necessitates considerable field engagement with the team and our clients.
Our commitment to innovative solutions has progressed into the 'Launch & Execution Phase' with the introduction of CathWorks AngioFFR and Renal Denervation (RDN), both of which have received National and International Consensus Statements and Guideline endorsements over the past year. These innovations are recognized as significant growth drivers for Medtronic, and we aim for the UK&I CRDN team to be the leading business across EMEA in capitalizing on these opportunities.
Daily Responsibilities
You will be accountable for:
• Ensuring the team promotes the complete range of CRDN products to healthcare facilities and professionals, maintaining high standards of product and service delivery.
• Establishing clear business goals with the Sales Team at the individual account level, ensuring each goal is SMART, with defined execution strategies and accountability.
• Contributing innovative ideas to the CRDN Leadership Team and sharing successful practices.
• Collaborating with the Business Manager, Commercial Operations, Product Specialists, and Training and Education Manager to devise effective commercial strategies tailored for the UK market to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Fostering a culture of commercial excellence within the team, achieving all key performance metrics on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Collecting and communicating relevant market data and insights within the organization, in partnership with CRDN marketing.
• Addressing and resolving client concerns, particularly when high-level decision-making is required.
Essential Qualifications
• Proven experience in team management, including coaching, development, and performance evaluation.
• Strong business insight and a successful track record in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated history of personal development and growth.
• Experience in executing successful product launches, territory planning, and sales forecasting.
• Background in medical device sales.
• Strong aptitude for identifying business opportunities and influencing stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
• University degree in business administration or a related field.
• Professional coaching certification.
• Experience in the Coronary / Peripheral Vascular specialties.
• Proven history of team management within Medtronic.
• Familiarity with the Integrity Selling approach.
