The Medtronic team focused on Coronary, Renal Denervation & CathWorks (CRDN) is dedicated to establishing our company as the premier partner for healthcare professionals in the fight against cardiovascular disease. Our clientele includes both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, primarily within the Interventional Cardiology sector, encompassing Tertiary Centres and District General Hospitals. Key customers include Interventional Cardiologists, Hypertension Specialists, Cardiac Cath Lab managers, Theatre managers, Specialist nurses, Directorate managers, and Procurement professionals. Our advanced therapies are designed to address conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension.
The primary objective of this position is to mentor, develop, and inspire the sales team to expand the Medtronic CRDN business through strong collaboration with both implanting and non-implanting centers. This role will involve significant fieldwork alongside the team and our customers.
Our commitment to innovation has led us into the 'Launch & Execution Phase' with the introduction of CathWorks AngioFFR and Renal Denervation (RDN), both of which have recently gained national and international consensus and guideline endorsements. These innovations are recognized as critical growth drivers for Medtronic, and we expect our UK&I CRDN team to emerge as the leading business across EMEA in capitalizing on these opportunities.

Daily Responsibilities
You will be accountable for:

• Guiding the team to effectively promote the complete range of CRDN products to hospitals and healthcare professionals, ensuring high standards of product and service delivery.

• Establishing clear business goals with the Sales Team on an individual account basis, ensuring each goal is SMART, with defined execution strategies and accountability.

• Contributing innovative ideas to the CRDN Leadership Team and sharing success stories and best practices.

• Collaborating with the Business Manager, Commercial Operations, Product Specialists, and Training and Education Manager to define the most effective commercial strategies for the UK market to meet sales and profitability targets.

• Fostering a culture of commercial excellence within the team, achieving all key performance metrics on a quarterly and annual basis.

• Collecting and communicating relevant market data and insights within the organization, in partnership with CRDN marketing.

• Addressing and resolving client concerns, particularly when high-level decision-making is required.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience in team management, including coaching, development, and performance evaluation.

• Strong business insight and experience working effectively within a matrix organization.

• Demonstrated success in personal development.

• Experience in executing successful product launches, along with territory planning and forecasting from a sales management perspective.

• Background in medical device sales.

• Strong aptitude for identifying business opportunities and influencing stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Valid driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in business administration or a scientific field.

• Professional coaching certification.

• Experience in the Coronary / Peripheral Vascular specialties.

• Proven success in team management at Medtronic.

• Familiarity with the Integrity Selling approach.
