Job Summary:

Lancaster University is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join the TUDOR project, a cutting-edge research initiative focused on developing open network technologies for 5G and future mobile networks.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in computer networking to contribute to the design and implementation of a novel intent-driven management framework for 3D open networks. The ideal candidate will have proficient programming skills and experience in implementing and testing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a novel intent-driven management framework for 3D open networks
  • Develop a digital twin platform to predict the behavior of real-life RAN and Core infrastructures
  • Contribute to the development of open network technologies for 5G and future mobile networks
  • Work closely with project investigators to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong background in computer networking
  • Proficient programming skills
  • Experience in implementing and testing systems
