Research Associate/Senior Research Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join our team at Lancaster University and contribute to the AI4ME project, a pioneering EPSRC & BBC-funded Prosperity Partnership.

About the Project:

AI4ME is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to design and deliver personalized video content at scale. Our team brings together experts from the BBC, Lancaster University, and the University of Surrey to create innovative media experiences that adapt to individual preferences, accessibility requirements, devices, and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of novel systems-building technology and intelligent networked systems for hyper-personalized media delivery.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement the world's first hyper-adaptive end-to-end delivery infrastructure.
  • Work on solving the delivery challenge for personalized media, leveraging expertise in systems or networking.

Requirements:

  • Background in systems or networking, with a strong understanding of relevant research fields.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
