About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Close Brothers Group. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning initiatives that drive business outcomes and support the growth of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop training programs that meet the needs of our business and employees, including soft skills, management skills, and regulatory training.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Manage and maintain our Learning Management System, ensuring seamless delivery of learning content and tracking of employee progress.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted learning solutions.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion team to develop learning initiatives that promote a culture of inclusion and respect.
  • Lead and coordinate talent development programs and initiatives to support the growth and development of our high-potential employees.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on designing and delivering training programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
