Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing and high-profile project delivery team at Building Digital UK (BDUK). As a Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating open market and public reviews of the UK's commercial broadband market to ensure that the £5 billion Project Gigabit funding is allocated effectively.

You will work closely with the Senior Case Manager to coordinate processes, manage stakeholder relationships, and analyze data to inform business decisions. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in meeting competing deadlines and demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of BDUK's Open Market Reviews (OMRs) and Public Reviews (PRs), managing a workload of cases from across the UK with varying scale and complexity.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and report on the management of OMR/PR activities, supporting the Data, Technical, and Commercial teams.
  • Develop strong working relationships across BDUK and with external stakeholders, including suppliers and local bodies, to support an operationally efficient Case Management team.
  • Support the resolution of data queries related to the submission of information and ensure timely reporting to the Senior Case Manager.
  • Act as the key link with Local Delivery Leads and Managers, providing ad-hoc support as required to empower them to progress their projects.
  • Support the OMR/PR team, coordinating activities and inputs, and support their career development through access to learning and development opportunities.
  • Ensure detailed progress updates are regularly presented and communicated to colleagues across BDUK via various communication channels.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent organizational ability, administrative, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable using Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for basic data analysis.
  • Experience of operating in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • A proactive approach to managing workload and problem-solving.
  • Delivering through others.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with a range of stakeholders to support business outcomes.
  • Experience or interest in the Civil Service.
  • Experience of managing sometimes difficult supplier engagements.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
