About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category & Analysis Executive to join our team at Samworth Brothers, a fourth-generation family business producing high-quality own-label products for many of the UK's best-known retailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive data-driven decision-making by analysing market trends, shopper behaviour, and category performance.
  • Deliver actionable insights to support commercial and category strategies for the business, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of product range, merchandising, and activation across a wide variety of retail customers.
  • Regularly produce bi-weekly Market Insights Reports, covering seasonal reviews and identifying market trends for future product launches.
  • Support the influence of in-store and digital merchandising and activations.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Category Analyst/Executive role within FMCG.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret market and consumer insight data from sources like Kantar, Dunnhumby, IRI, and EPOS.
  • UK driving license with flexibility to travel to stores across the Midlands.
