Job Title: Process Manager

At International Automotive Components, we're driven by a passion for innovation and excellence. As a Process Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing plans and quality standards.
  • Support Launch plans, trial plans, and Program Team requirements.
  • Develop and implement robust corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Ensure awareness and understanding of quality standards among team members.
  • Drive a proactive approach to quality, identifying and addressing issues at the earliest opportunity.
  • Optimize equipment and processes to build quality into products and detect issues early.
  • Ensure team adherence to IAC rules and policies, promoting a culture of fairness and consistency.
  • Monitor and report KPI data to relevant stakeholders, maintaining a fact-based approach.
  • Take ownership of housekeeping standards, driving excellence and compliance.
Budgetary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and influence spending on the Process Budget and Project Budget.
  • Ensure adherence to the Indirect Labour Budget.
  • Manage allocated elements of the plant CAPEX Budget.
Person Specification:

Qualifications: Numerate and literate to minimum GCSE "C" or "4" or equivalent, and NVQ Level 3+ (or equivalent) in Injection Moulding and Process Conditioning. Degree-level education in a managerial/engineering discipline (desirable).

Experience: Management of multi-skilled teams of Process Engineers, preferably in an FMCG environment. Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools with demonstrable results. Management of diverse teams in an automotive unionized environment. Trained to green belt six sigma level. Experience of leading CI projects and initiatives.

Behaviours: Influencing and persuasive style with a motivational and coaching approach to team. Focused on health and safety and CI, with a "can-do" attitude and propensity to problem-solve.

Business/Functional Skills: Computer literate with MS packages, and excellent communication skills at all levels. Ability to interpret data effectively and find solutions to low-affected areas. KPI-driven.
