Network and Streetworks Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Streetworks Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our street works teams and managing significant projects within our traffic management division.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and tactical advice to the street works teams, managing an area generating £2 million in income.
- Oversee senior and principal engineers, ensuring effective delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Manage and develop policies and procedures related to traffic management and street works.
- Play a key role in legal cases related to highway licences and enforcement.
- Collaborate with a principal engineer to alleviate workload and enhance team efficiency.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in change management.
- Strong background in financial management within a regulated discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of street works and traffic management sectors.
- Experience in local government or utility sectors is highly desirable, though relevant private sector experience will also be considered.
- Ability to provide strategic and tactical advice in policy and procedure development.
- Competitive salary and flexible start dates, accommodating up to a 3-month notice period.
