We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Work across a range of clinical specialties, including critical care, paediatrics, surgery, and medical wards, to provide expert clinical pharmacy services.
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce medication errors.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize medication regimens and improve patient care.
- Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in pharmacy practice.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to support their professional development.
- Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy setting, with a minimum of 18 months post-registration experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice to patient care.
- Ability to motivate and lead others, with a strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
