We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to fill a full-time permanent position, playing a crucial role in a significant high-speed rail project.

Envision yourself at the helm, overseeing the execution of multiple MEP headhouses for a landmark railway initiative, influencing the future of transportation. You will be engaged in a dynamic environment, ensuring smooth coordination among MEP, construction, and rail operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Site Manager, your duties will include:

Ensuring that project personnel are adequately trained to perform their tasks safely, competently, and efficiently Collaborating with the Site Team to ensure timely project delivery, addressing and resolving any issues that may arise Working closely with subcontractor management to guarantee that installations adhere to construction specifications and drawings Verifying that subcontractors are operating with the most current information for each work area Managing commercial and operational risks to meet project objectives Understanding the relevant commercial terms and conditions for each project or tender Proactively managing client relationships throughout the tender and delivery phases, including change management and decision-making Leading initiatives for Zero Harm and promoting continuous improvement in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) across projects Demonstrating visible leadership and embodying the appropriate leadership behaviors Supporting operational teams in achieving success through positive communication, active listening, and ongoing encouragement Reviewing the scope of work with Project and/or Site Engineers, identifying and agreeing on safe work systems Coordinating with Project and/or Site Engineers to ensure timely requisition of necessary equipment and resources Evaluating method statements and risk assessments related to construction activities and assisting in the preparation of comprehensive work packs Ensuring all personnel receive site inductions prior to commencing site activities and daily briefings before starting any task Confirming that all site personnel possess the necessary authorizations to operate equipment or obtain permits Monitoring that all site personnel are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and welfare facilities Conducting Management Safety Representative (MSR) checks of site practices in collaboration with the client's designated MSR

Completion of SSSTS CSCS card (black) Completion of Making Safety Personal Module 2 Completion of Brilliant Basics Honest Conversations Module Strong communication skills Commercial awareness with knowledge of budgetary and financial control Exceptional relationship management abilities Capability to lead, develop, and motivate a team towards success
