We are looking for a dedicated professional to fill a full-time permanent position, playing a crucial role in a transformative railway project.

Imagine being at the helm of operations, overseeing the development of multiple Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) facilities for a significant transportation project, contributing to the evolution of modern travel. You will engage in a vibrant work environment, ensuring the smooth collaboration between MEP, construction, and rail systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Site Manager, your duties will include:

Ensuring that all project personnel are adequately trained to perform their tasks safely and efficiently. Collaborating with the Site Team to maintain project timelines and address any challenges that arise. Working closely with subcontractor management to guarantee that installations comply with design specifications. Verifying that subcontractors are utilizing the most current information for their respective work areas. Managing commercial risks to meet project objectives. Understanding the commercial terms and conditions relevant to each project. Proactively managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, including adjustments and decision-making processes. Promoting a culture of Zero Harm and striving for continuous improvement in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards. Demonstrating effective leadership and embodying the desired leadership qualities. Supporting operational teams by fostering a positive environment, actively listening, and providing encouragement. Reviewing project scopes with Engineers to establish safe work practices. Coordinating with Engineers to ensure timely requests for necessary equipment and resources. Evaluating method statements and risk assessments specific to construction tasks and assisting in the preparation of comprehensive work packages. Ensuring all personnel receive site inductions and daily briefings before commencing work. Confirming that all site workers possess the required authorizations for equipment operation. Monitoring compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and welfare provisions on site. Conducting safety checks in collaboration with the client's designated representatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful Construction Site Manager will possess:

SSSTS certification. A valid CSCS card (black). Completion of the Making Safety Personal Module 2. Completion of the Brilliant Basics Honest Conversations Module. Strong communication skills. Commercial acumen with an understanding of budget management and financial oversight. Exceptional relationship management abilities. The capability to lead, develop, and inspire a team towards success.
