Job Title: Asset Management Paralegal

About the Role:

The Taylor Root team is seeking an experienced Funds Paralegal to join our client's London office. This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.

Our client is a leading US law firm with a strong presence in London. They provide advice to top corporations, investment funds, and financial institutions worldwide.

About the Team:

The firm's asset management practice is a significant contributor to their London office's revenue. They work closely with financial services institutions and investment funds to advise on various fund types, including hedge funds, private equity, credit funds, and real estate funds.

About the Role:

As a Paralegal in the Asset Management team, you will gain exposure to all aspects of fund management. This includes advising fund sponsors, investment advisors, and other financial institutions on the structuring, establishment, and operation of private investment funds. You will also work with alternative investment funds across various asset classes, such as private equity, infrastructure, credit, and real estate, as well as managed accounts, co-investment funds, and fund financing arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising fund sponsors and investment advisors on the structuring and establishment of private investment funds
  • Working with alternative investment funds across various asset classes
  • Assisting with the operation and management of private investment funds
  • Providing support to the Asset Management team on various fund-related matters
