Marketing Manager EU Events Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced events marketing professional to join our team as Marketing Manager for our EU events portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the EU events marketing strategy, managing the events marketing team, and allocating workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EU events marketing strategy and tactics
  • Manage events marketing team and allocate workload
  • Run simultaneous event marketing campaigns
  • Achieve revenue targets for EU events portfolio through marketing activity
  • Manage marketing team to deliver on revenue and delegate attendance targets
  • Track and control budgets across EU portfolio
  • Responsible for creation, editing, and proofing of promotional materials
  • Manage existing and develop new key strategic media and association partners
  • Increase profile of conferences across industries
  • Manage own marketing campaigns for large-scale events
  • Creation, copywriting, and fulfillment of regular email marketing activity
  • Partnerships: fulfill agreements with partners, desk research of potential partners, and contact details
  • Update event websites through CMS, create online banners, and resize logos/photos
  • Manage production of marketing literature for events
  • Market research and data management: data segmentation and lists management
  • Media and social media: utilize news resources to fuel content and social media campaign elements
