Job Overview

We are pleased to announce a full-time opportunity for a Patient Information Coordinator to support the management team at our healthcare facility.

The Patient Information Coordinator will work closely with a diverse range of clinical and administrative staff to oversee all patient data management and tracking systems, including the secure transfer of information between various healthcare providers. Additionally, the role involves providing guidance and support to the administrative team, taking charge of several human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular data validation and audits on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring the accuracy of patient records and IT systems within the regional healthcare network.

- Manage and distribute all relevant data information on a routine basis, ensuring timely reporting to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

- Collaborate with both clinical and administrative personnel involved in the transfer of information to enhance internal referral processes and patient pathways.

- Supervise the administrative staff to ensure effective and precise execution of their roles, encompassing various HR responsibilities.

- Partner with the Operations Manager to oversee recruitment, performance evaluations, and staff development within the organization, ensuring alignment with patient care pathways and performance metrics.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a high-pressure environment with supervisory responsibilities
  • Proven supervisory or management experience
  • Understanding of NHS services and patient treatment pathways
  • Previous experience in data validation and management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

Desirable

  • Experience with waiting list management

Qualifications and Training

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C or above, or equivalent experience
  • Administrative or supervisory qualification at NVQ III level or equivalent experience
