About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Site Solutions team as a Managing Consultant - Contaminated Land in London.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and managing contaminated land investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects. You will work closely with colleagues in Ground Engineering, Structures, and Transport departments to deliver multi-disciplinary services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct contaminated land investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver multi-disciplinary services to clients.
  • Lead client relationships and manage project finances.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor early career professionals.
  • Contribute to business development and financial goals.
  • Provide senior governance and duties in accordance with Ramboll's competency and governance frameworks.

About the Team

You will be part of our Site Solutions service line in the UK, a team of sixty consultants, environmental scientists, and geologists working across ten offices. We work together as a national team, sharing resources, skills, and experiences.

Our Site Solutions team is well-known for our expertise in sustainable remediation, environmental risk assessment, and PFAS. We also have a range of working groups that you can join, covering topics such as nature-based solutions and DQRA.

About You

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related field. You should have a Master's degree in an environmental discipline and significant experience in project management, including financial and technical aspects.

You should also have experience working with buildings and infrastructure development teams, as well as proactive leadership and management skills.
