We're seeking a seasoned Senior Bid Manager to join our Construction business in the UK. As a key member of our Pre-Construction team, you'll play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.

About the Role

As a Senior Bid Manager, you'll be responsible for leading bid teams in preparing winning bids for a wide range of projects, including education, healthcare, commercial, and leisure developments. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing bid management procedures, ensuring timely and effective delivery of bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and lead bid teams with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare high-quality bids
  • Develop and implement bid management procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Chair bid kick-off meetings, solution development meetings, and mid-bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop tender period programs, communicate actions to the team, and monitor progress
  • Attend feedback sessions with clients and coordinate tender queries and amendments

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bid management, with a strong track record of delivering successful bids
  • Experience in bidding on education, healthcare, commercial, and leisure projects
  • Previous experience working with a leading national or regional contractor
