Senior Bid Manager

We're seeking a skilled Senior Bid Manager to join our Construction business in Witham. This role offers progression opportunities, flexible hours, and the chance to work on diverse projects.
Location: Witham, Essex.
Contract: Permanent, full-time – flexible and part-time hours available if desired.
As a Senior Bid Manager, you'll work within the Pre-Construction team, supporting them in building projects that benefit local communities.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Assembling a bid team with relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid.
- Following agreed bid management procedures and ensuring they're implemented at each stage of the bid process.
- Chairing Bid Kick-off meetings, solution development, and mid-bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing tender period programmes, communicating actions to the team, and monitoring progress.
- Attending feedback sessions with the client and coordinating tender queries and amendments.
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in bid management.
- Bidding experience on education, healthcare, commercial, and leisure projects.
- Previous work with a leading national or regional contractor.
