Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our client with her daily needs, promoting her independence, and enhancing her overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our client with her daily living activities, including personal care and medication management
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Encourage and support our client to participate in activities and hobbies
  • Provide physical interventions and restraint training as required
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our client

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions and restraint training
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
