The Role: Support Professional

As a Support Professional at Turning Point, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and individualized care to individuals with learning disabilities. You will work collaboratively with our team to create a supportive and enriching environment where each person can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Implement personalized care plans, ensuring each individual's unique needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and family members, to develop comprehensive support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not required.
