About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, complex needs, health needs, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals to promote their independence and daily living skills
  • Assist with personal care needs, including manual handling and medication support
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services

Requirements

  • Passion for working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Manual handling and physical stamina to support individuals with complex needs
  • Knowledge of Learning Disability and complex needs would be beneficial, but not essential
