Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to join our team as a Medical Fitness Assessor. The successful candidate will work as an independent practitioner to assess individuals' medical fitness to drive, their need for adapted controls, or their requirements while traveling as a passenger in a vehicle.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering safe and effective clinical practice, working closely with the Clinical and Team Lead to maximize service provision. They will also participate in SMART-wide initiatives related to Quality and Clinical Governance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess individuals' medical fitness to drive, their need for adapted controls, or their requirements while traveling as a passenger in a vehicle.
  2. Deliver safe and effective clinical practice, working closely with the Clinical and Team Lead to maximize service provision.
  3. Participate in SMART-wide initiatives related to Quality and Clinical Governance.
