We are excited to announce several openings for Healthcare Risk Assessors to join our esteemed team. As a vital member of the Royal London Underwriting division, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our clients receive precise and equitable risk assessment decisions, complemented by exceptional customer service from our dedicated support teams.
The Healthcare Risk Assessment team plays a crucial role in guiding our clients at the onset of their journey, ensuring that their policies are established correctly. This is essential, especially during their times of need, providing them with the confidence that they have the necessary support to make a claim.
We seek individuals who are dedicated to customer satisfaction, exhibit empathy, possess strong communication skills, and are open to a culture of continuous learning and adaptation. You should have a keen eye for detail, an analytical approach, and the confidence to make informed decisions while collaborating with colleagues to share insights and best practices, ensuring optimal outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a portfolio of cases from application through to decision, making informed choices that balance cost and risk while enhancing customer experiences. Support the overarching Customer Service strategy by ensuring that medical risk assessments are accurate and aligned with commercial risk parameters. Deliver effective customer service within the established consumer duty framework. Serve as a technical resource, offering medical underwriting expertise both internally and externally.Candidate Profile
Demonstrated experience in medical risk assessment, including critical illness, mortality, and income protection within the UK sector. Comprehensive knowledge of the Protection Market. Proficient in researching, analyzing, and interpreting complex data. Strong grasp of medical terminology and the ability to interpret medical documentation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly analytical and detail-oriented.About Royal London
