Lead Credit Risk Strategy Analyst

Cleo AI is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Credit Risk Strategy Analyst to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting innovative credit assessment models and strategies tailored for our Cleo+ subscription service. Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage proprietary and external data sources to improve customer interactions and minimize loss rates.
  • Refine risk thresholds and policies to broaden access to credit offerings.
  • Employ quantitative analysis to pinpoint risk factors and suggest mitigation tactics.
  • Develop dashboards to track product performance metrics.
  • Design and evaluate experiments related to credit offerings.
  • Implement sophisticated methods to counteract fraud risks.
  • Promote a data-centric culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit risk evaluation, ideally within the FinTech sector.
  • Understanding of US state and federal lending regulations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling software.
  • Familiarity with machine learning methodologies.
  • Strong skills in Excel.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms.
