ROLE OVERVIEW

The position of Lead Credit Risk Strategy Analyst will encompass overseeing a range of analytical initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing credit decision-making through the implementation of a new risk scorecard and adjustments to credit policies.
  • Employing advanced statistical techniques for predicting customer behavior and forecasting demand.
  • Collaborating with product and technology teams to refine credit policies.
  • Managing pricing strategies and commercial negotiations with sales teams and partner merchants.
  • Evaluating portfolio performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategic modifications.
  • Creating NPV and pricing models to support informed lending decisions while recognizing limitations.
  • Working alongside the fraud prevention team to monitor trends and improve fraud strategies.
  • Formulating strategies to enhance affordability policies and ensure favorable customer outcomes.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior team members to foster their professional development.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in credit risk strategy.
  • Proficient in SQL or Python.
  • Strong analytical background with a numerate degree.
