Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Programmer to join our team in Manchester. As a Statistical Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing statistical analysis and data management systems using SAS and other statistical packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coding SAS programs for data processing, statistical analysis, and the generation of tables, figures, and listings
  • Summarizing results and providing input into study reports
  • Working closely and collaboratively with project and scientific staff on data processing, analysis, and reporting requirements
  • Contributing to the development of data management, analysis, and reporting systems through the coding and validation of standard SAS and SAS Macro programs

Requirements

  • Experience programming in SAS or other statistical packages (e.g. R) for scientific and/or clinical research
  • Educated to degree level (BSc/MSc), ideally in Statistics or similar (equivalent experience will be considered)
  • Ability to work successfully in a team, liaising with colleagues across different departments and countries to understand requirements and translate these to achievable actions
  • Ability to innovate, apply new skills and knowledge, and take initiative
