Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults in our community.
As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will work closely with young people, their families, and other professionals to provide a range of mental health interventions and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group-based mental health interventions to children and young adults aged 11-25.
- Work collaboratively with young people, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and services to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults.
Requirements:
- Graduate or postgraduate level qualification in a relevant field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.
- At least 200 hours of direct experience providing mental health support, with at least 100 hours working with young people.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with young people, their families, and other professionals.
