Position Overview: You are the leader of the establishment.

Your primary responsibility is to uphold the consistency of culinary standards, deliver exceptional service, and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.

You will be accountable for achieving the restaurant's sales and profitability by managing all operational costs effectively, including the preparation of weekly schedules while ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the German Doner Kebab restaurant.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and take necessary actions to resolve issues.
  • Ensure the highest quality of food products is served.
  • Organize and supervise shifts to guarantee satisfaction for both team members and guests.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to maintain motivation and productivity.
  • Forecast consumption, manage inventory, and minimize product waste to ensure availability.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Control expenses and reduce waste to maximize restaurant profitability.
  • Promote and enhance the GDK brand.
  • Oversee all restaurant operations and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Manage financial aspects including sales growth, cost control, and profit enhancement.
  • Take ownership of the restaurant's performance metrics.
  • Analyze and strategize restaurant sales and profitability.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives, including promotional events.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports at the end of each shift/week, covering team performance, food management, and sales.
  • Develop and implement strategies for sales growth, restaurant profitability, and staff development.
  • Coordinate all restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
  • Welcome guests and manage table reservations.
  • Supervise kitchen, dining, and counter staff shifts.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and safety.
  • Assist in various areas of the restaurant as needed.
  • Complete all necessary daily reports at the end of each shift.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Ensure the security of the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure accurate monthly accounts and timely delivery administration.
  • Maintain the restaurant management system.
  • Engage with customers to model exceptional service.
  • Oversee staff training and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Uphold high standards of food quality.
  • Adhere to all legal responsibilities and requirements associated with the business.
  • Maintain a local authority food safety certificate.
Qualifications:

A successful candidate for the role of Food Service Operations Manager should possess excellent communication skills and a strong desire to work collaboratively with colleagues.
