We are seeking a passionate Team Supervisor to join our vibrant team and help us fulfill this mission.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of support staff to provide exceptional care.
  • Develop and execute personalized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each young individual.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for both residents and staff.
  • Provide direct support with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
  • Monitor and document the progress of young individuals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration with various agencies and maintain positive relationships with staff, the local community, and other professionals involved in the young individual's life.
  • Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Encourage and promote the involvement of young individuals in decision-making processes within the home and the broader community.
  • Uphold the organization's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a setting supporting young individuals.
  • Possess Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Exhibit a compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Show strong motivational, management, and leadership potential.
  • Ability to supervise, support, and develop Residential Support Workers to foster a cohesive team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
  • Experience working directly with young individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to connect with young individuals with empathy and a commitment to high standards of child care, striving for the best outcomes for those in your care.
