As part of a small residential facility, our goal is to deliver exceptional care that encourages independence, dignity, and a high standard of living.

We are seeking a dedicated Coordinator to join our vibrant team and help us fulfill this mission.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and inspire a team of support staff to provide exceptional care.
2. Develop and implement personalized care strategies to address the unique needs of each young individual.
3. Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for both residents and staff.
4. Provide direct support with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
5. Monitor and document the progress of young individuals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

6. Facilitate effective collaboration and positive relationships with staff, the local community, local authorities, other professional agencies, and significant individuals involved in the young person's life.

7. Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

8. Encourage and promote the involvement of young individuals in the decision-making processes of the facility and the broader community, assisting in sourcing information and advice from relevant entities.

9. Adhere to the organization's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar capacity, ideally in a setting supporting young individuals.
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent.
- Ability to supervise, support, and develop Residential Support Workers to foster a cohesive team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
- Experience working directly with young individuals exhibiting challenging behavior.

- Ability to connect with young individuals with empathy and a commitment to high standards of child care, striving for the best outcomes for those in your care.
