People Development Advisor - Retail

Role Overview:

As a People Development Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for development throughout our organization. You will play a crucial role in the whole learning cycle, from scoping a learning need to researching and developing a learning solution, and delivering innovative and high-quality development initiatives. These initiatives will vary from face-to-face delivery to content curation, coaching, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver performance-focused learning and development activities to audiences across the group, in both virtual and face-to-face facilitated sessions.
  • Work with line managers to improve team KPI delivery, identify trends, and work in partnership to improve areas of concern through effective individual and team development activities.
  • Conduct follow-up activity to ensure impact after development interventions and to inform further learning needs and continuously improve our People Development Offering.
  • Provide individual and group coaching activities that focus on both personal and professional development to colleagues both on and off development programs.
  • Role-model a growth mindset throughout the business by staying up to date with and applying current theory within Learning and Development and adult learning.
  • Advocate for and build a learning culture within the group by sharing their learning and facilitating social learning.
  • Curate high-quality content to share across the group to encourage and enable social and self-directed learning.
  • Uphold ILM Assured quality standards in the delivery of programs that align.

Training Requirements for the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will be qualified to Level 3 in Learning and Development by CIPD or hold other equivalent qualifications.
