Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Portadown, Northern Ireland. As a trusted partner, our Public Health mission is to make food systems safer, healthier and more sustainable.
About the Role
As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the administration process of samples collected and received from our customers. This includes:
- Providing receipt and feedback to the retailer of samples received against pre-set structures and schedules
- Logging samples received to LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
- Building and maintaining files of ordered folders and reporting structures
- Populating reports for products received under contract
- Taking photographs and reviewing samples received, uploading photographs and attaching to reports
- Arranging all samples, packing and couriering samples to subcontract laboratory
- Receiving subcontract reports and digitally filing to the relevant folder system
- Maintaining sample retention until completion of result
- Uploading results via file link as appropriate
- Upkeep and maintenance of an orderly office, recycling waste
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Office Administrator/Clerical Officer. You should have good competency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English, and be highly organized with experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
