**Logistics Administrator**

**The Job**:

- Take calls from customers in relation to requests for service or breakdown assistance.
- Provide a clear understanding of the customers issue so that the Service Manager or Service Engineer can deal with it efficiently.
- Liaise with the Service Manager to assist in the planning of engineering activities.
- Maintain the Engineers daily planner and update as required and send out to relevant personnel.
- Communicate with customers to advise when an engineer will be on site.
- Collation & Processing of Service Invoices
- Ensure Parts and Materials used or delivered by service engineers are allocated and invoiced accordingly referring packaging materials to be invoiced to the front office.
- Generate quotations for service work and parts.
- Generate quotation for service contracts.
- Maintain service contracts ensuring scheduled service work is planned and carried out.
- Generate tooling and machine delivery paperwork for all dispatches.
- Assist with Debtors when required.
- Coordinate with the sales team on machine deliveries due in from suppliers and deliveries due out to the customer.
- Generate delivery paperwork for machinery.
- Liase with warehousing on delivery on machinery/ tooling

**The Person**:

- Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C), including English and Maths
- At least 2 years’ office experience
- Experience of working in a professional, fast paced and challenging environment
- Fleet management experience desirable but not essential
- Logistics administration experience desirable but not essential
- Proven customer service focus - understand the need, solve problems and respond efficiently
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Outgoing, customer service approach
- Drive and energy for results
- Ability to prioritise and organise
- Excellent attention to detail
- Timely decision making
- Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
- Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
