Role Summary:

In the capacity of Lead Building Consultant / Senior Associate, you will be instrumental in guiding our surveying team, overseeing projects, and offering expert advice to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of building consultants, providing direction and support.
  • Manage all phases of building consultancy projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough surveys, inspections, and evaluations of properties, identifying issues, recommending solutions, and providing cost assessments.
  • Prepare detailed reports, work schedules, and specifications, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, architects, and other professionals, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and fostering innovation in our services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Significant experience in building consultancy, with a proven history of managing projects and leading teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in building construction, defect analysis, and repair strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including CAD and surveying tools.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
