Job Title: Sales Order Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Order Processor to join our dynamic team at Reed Recruitment Milton Keynes. This role involves managing the order to cash process across multiple delivery channels, providing a rewarding and challenging opportunity for an experienced individual.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process standard and sample orders from customers, including EDI, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Verify inventory availability and confirm orders with customers, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Generate open order reports and update delivery status, rejections, and date/quantity changes, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Assist customers with queries by investigating and resolving them promptly, showcasing a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work.
  • Ensure pricing is correctly set up for promotions and seasonal changes, utilizing strong Excel skills and SAP experience.
  • Coordinate with warehouses for repacks, labelling, and special deliveries, demonstrating ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Onboard new customers with the warehouses and maintain master data, highlighting proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Produce shipping documents for deliveries and consolidate loads for efficiency, delivering the highest level of customer service to both internal and external contacts.
  • Develop relationships with customers to understand their specific business needs, liaising and building relationships with allocated Sales Account Managers.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sales order processing or customer service, with a strong understanding of the order to cash process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work.
