About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist and Call Centre Operative to join our team at East Norfolk Medical Practice. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of customer service to patients and clinical staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring accurate and timely communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional, providing clear and concise information and guidance.
  • Provide administrative support to the practice team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the practice, maintaining a positive and friendly image at all times.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with patients and staff.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills, with experience of using VDUs and other software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
