About the Role:
Egis in the UK is seeking a skilled Scheduler - Highway Maintenance to join our Technology Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the M25's technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and Coordinate Road Space Bookings: Ensure efficient use of road space for fault and maintenance tasks.
- Manage Service Job Management System: Capture and enter accurate data in NH Service Now.
- Support Tunnels Team: Assist with routine maintenance scheduling and closures.
- Operational Tasks: Process procurement, timesheet management, and equipment ordering.
- Provide Holiday and Sick Cover: Support the Service Coordinator as needed.
- Maintain Training Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- General Administration: Perform various administrative tasks and duties as required.
Requirements:
- IT Literacy: Proficient in database applications and MS Office.
- Previous Experience: Supporting a field-based team and managing booking systems.
- Knowledge of Highways Maintenance: Familiarity with traffic management and incident management.
- Technical Bias: Advantageous for candidates with a technical background.
- Working Knowledge: National Highways' Service Now job management system and/or Connect Plus Services Network Occupancy Management (NOMS) system.
